Good question sempainick.* Both offer arguably the same aphrodisiac effect.* PT-141 is the targeted synthetic aphrodisiac stripped of the tanning properties.
Those who want to avoid changes in their skin tone should choose PT141.* MT-II is not a peptide which contains PT-141, both are separate amino acid structures (pt simply lacking at a certain terminal to not yield a tan).* I know I have read confusion on this before somewhere....

I have been using melanotan 2 on and off for about 12 months. i live in Australia and just received a batch of melanotan2 and pt-141 from melanotan usa. it took ten day to get here and was not sent with any ice packs. I have had difficulty finding any instruction or timings regarding Pt-141 (nasal) and i am also not that sure how effective the peptides will be after ten days with no cooling. Any advice would be appreciated. I have a female friend who is skin type 1 who has just started using melanotan 2 (just had her second sub cut injection). She is also keen to try PT-141 with nasal administration. Does anyone know how long PT-141 last in nasal spray form (shelf life)?
Any advice is appreciated.

No worries about ice packs...they are never needed for these peptides and only ad expense and shipping complication. The molecule is large and does not permeate well through the nasal applications (from my reading as well as experience). It also likely will degrade fairly quick depending on what solution you intend to put up your nose. To this day I have yet to really see any credible success stories when it comes to a PT-141 nasal spray experience

I did the dosing increase for PT-141 and need about 1.5-1.8 mg of PT for the desired effect.*
I would also like to tan, although the libido increase is, admittedly, the primary target.* I am wondering if you have heard experiences of individuals just maintaining dosage when switching product?* I take the PT about 1 x /week, so I understand I might not tan.* I rarely get nauseous or have negative sides, and it starts to take effect in about 3-4 hours, with about 5-7 hours being a "peak".* * Often I take it first thing in the AM (7:15 or so) for a 5pm rendezvous.* Waiting 10 hours seems to work, but I do "suffer" for part of the day.*

I think the strategy when you switch from PT-141 to Melanotan II is to dose at 500mcg.* .5mg dose of MT-2 daily will likely yield a tan and the aphrodisiac fairly quick.* Feel free to start a thread about MT-2 and tanning* 8)
